Excellent piece. This case was an absolute travesty of justice. Is there no limit to the cynicism of these depraved men and the naivety of judges?

That a little girl can be deemed mere collateral damage while the women who refused to accept their role as bit players in this man’s sexual pantomime culminating in paedophilia are cast as accomplices is beyond outrageous.

There is nothing a man can do that will see his “woman” card revoked and no act so despicable that it cannot be excused by absurd claims of “transphobia” driving it.

Shame on this judge. Shame on Australia.

A female judge no less who's brains have fallen out! Can we sue judges? The outcome of this case nearly tipped me over the edge as well. I feel like a walking volcano! Outraged!!!

Yes, it’s galling that she’s female. if only, as you suggest, she could be sued! Too often these kind of appalling, misogynistic judgements are being made by female judges. I have it from a very reliable source that the judiciary in Australia is heavily captured by gender ideology, sadly.

And females in this very male patriarchal legal environment, as female politicians in government positions, have to compete with their male counterparts. To reach 'equality' and be taken serious by these legal patriarchs, they are more or less forced to adopt macho behaviour, and internalise institutionalised misogyny and outright hatred against women and girls, as we can all see played out, everywhere!

I agree and don’t agree. I think we should hold their feet to the fire. There is no excuse for the behaviour of these judges. Women (and men) like this need to stop prioritising their own career and their social standing as a “progressive” over the welfare of women and, even more importantly, the welfare of children.

I’ve met quite a few women like this judge and the ones I know are smug and very aggressive about their “allyship”. They’re basically collaborators in the war against women that is the trans movement.

They’ve turned their critical thinking facilities off because it’s convenient for them to do so. It’s always easier for people of both sexes to go along with the mob in charge (as we see if we read the history of professionals’ enthusiastic submission to Nazi ideology in Germany) but there’s nothing noble about it and these judges are certainly not forced to comply. They choose to behave this way.

I agree Jenny. Very well said and pointed out. Thank you. More food for thought and strategic planning of counter acting. Hold their feet to the fire!

Yep, Margo, this is war! 🙂 So many ordinary women just don’t realise that.

A lot of the young women “allies” who defend deranged men in dresses strike me as being in a trance-like state, like the Manson family girls, if you’re old enough to have the memory of that terrible phenomenon. They were willing to commit horrendous acts to please a nihilistic, psychopathic manipulator. He recruited lost, lonely girls just like the trans movement does. They’re a different kind of collaborator to wealthy, educated judges like the one who produced this bizarre verdict.

The magazine I usually publish in refused this article for legal reasons and its editor was asking just this question on national tv recently. You have to laugh otherwise despair is all you’d get.

It really did annoy me when Rand Paul, in the full knowledge of the literal beatings--never mind the social, financial, and reputation ones--that brave women like yourself were taking for speaking out, had the absolute gall to ask where all the feminists were. Did he not get all his information about the harms of puberty blockers from you? They were doing everything they could to get the message out and only conservatives would listen to them.

Yes, it was to stick it to the libs.

Yes, it was to gain political advantage.

And yes, there is a real risk of having the misogynist element use "saving women" as an excuse to further roll back our rights. But so far they have pushed back good and hard against gender insanity root and branch, and for that I am grateful. If he's serious about keeping it out of government he will have to hold some kind of public inquiry and the people responsible for this mess should get hard prison time.

I believe that, while some Republicans do indeed want to make us all into straight hausfraus, it's not going to happen. In conversations with people who believe in that I do remind them that the economic climate won't allow it. The hausfrau is a luxury that few families can afford. We both work in mine.

Well-written and sensitive article on atrocity.

I would add two points - the last few times I checked, there were zero cases of sex abuse by a lesbian in the US, but these cases may distort the statistics if the man claims to be a lesbian.

Second, not only are child sex abuse cases almost all male, they are predominantly a family member, here a father. On the whole cases are extremely rare, thankfully, but these are not random people as opposed to the Dutroux case in Belgium.

I personally avoid the “pedophilia” term because it medicalizes the crime. The crime is child sex abuse, the perpetrator may or may not be pedophiles. Pedophilia is not a crime, it’s a mental condition of sexual attraction do children. Child sex abuse is a crime.

My point was that pedophila is a paraphilia found almost exclusively in men, the fictitious change of sex removes the propensity to the paraphilia. My language was deliberate and accurate

Removes the propensity… impersonating a sex doesn’t change the propensity of either pedophilia or child sex abuse.

Your language is imprecise, if not inaccurate.

“Hollywood” is not rife with pedophiles, but there may be a fair number of people who are involved in child sex abuse, mothers and unrelated males.

The most obvious case of child sex abuse in Hollywood involved Teri Shields and Louis Malle, who positioned a pre-pubescent Brooke Shields to play a prostitute, which I find mind-boggling along with the fact that anyone can pull it up on Apple TV or Amazon. The movie is called “Pretty Baby”, which speaks for itself.

Going back:

Child sex abuse may involve pedophilia, or it can involve any number of psychopathologies.

Women are virtually never pedophiles, yet they sometimes do participate in child sex abuse. A majority of child abuse, sex or otherwise, is perpetrated by women. The subset of child abuse which is child sex abuse tends mostly to involve men who may or may not be pedophiles. Pedophilia is a rare condition.

A trans or anyone imagining sadistic abuse of a child sexually is not per se a pedophile, but they are a sexually sadistic psychopath.

You wrote a nice article. But you might want to consider there are people in the world who want to abuse children who are not pedophiles, in fact a majorly of those who do abuse children aren’t.

I grew up with a pedophile in the house and was made homeless by him so I'd be a bit more circumspect with your arrogant commentary.

I believe there is a condition some men have, that is unable to be fixed like a an aggressive dog and the behaviour evidences the condition. in fact the behaviour is the diagnostic criteria for the condition. And by "condition" I don't mean medical condition, i just mean a state of habitual existence.

Foucault was right when he said medical terms would replace religious discourse where people like yourself take this diagnostic of conditions of the human mind so seriously you actually think they are materially tangible.

You know how much value I have for psychology and sexology? fuck all. it's all a shitshow of guesswork.

So back off and police someone else's language. Please don't reply with more of this nonsense I'm already angry.

I nearly collapsed after that pedo courtcase too. These sick mental gymnastics of the psychiatrist 'expert' assessment, and the coercion of this female judge by this, is beyond comprehension for me. No female incarcerated woman will ever get this type of understanding or excuse of what drove her to her 'crime'. Yet despicable men with paraphilic, pedophile, and fetishist disorders, are getting away with causing lifelong trauma imposed on and perpetrated against powerless victims. I classify this under the term #femicide. If men don't kill girls and women physically and violently, they still kill girls and women spiritually with lifelong scars to overcome. Can judges be sued for internalised misogyny?

Think you should look further into the Human rights issue, it’s not that it’s human rights that is the problem but the way these things are often written are less about an individual human and more about protecting groups. Europes human rights are just horseshit designed to allow an elite to control public opinion and behaviour for example. Yours could be the same.

The judge should be removed. Too gullible, too stupid, to hold the position. The "expert" should have his license revoked. The opinion is essentially the evil wife by not treating this man as a submissive woman, caused him to RAPE HIS KID. AND FILM IT. His mental issues are NOT an extenuating circumstance - it is an aggravating factor. He LIKED taping a child because it made him feel better. Think about it. Think about the "logic" here: criminals are told it's not so bad if it makes them feel better ...
