I’ve been writing about gender identity in relation to women’s rights now for four years, and I’ve only seen things get progressively worse, hitting a low point for me a few weeks ago when I almost let the despair get the better of me. But something has happened to my little area of politics, and his name is Donald Trump.
My low point came on the 16th of January, I read a story in Reduxx that shook me to my core.
Reduxx is not your average women’s magazine. Since 2022 Reduxx has been exposing predators, pedophiles and fetishists who are coming out to meet the safeguarding failures proliferated by the implementation of gender identity protections in law.
The headline read “EXCLUSIVE: Transgender Pedophile Given Lenient Sentence For Sexually Abusing His 5-Year-Old Daughter After Court Considers “Transphobia” In Sentence”.
In the story, filed by Anna Slatz, we are introduced to Autumn Tulip Harper, a trans-identified Australian man who sexually abused his daughter and filmed the abuse to produce at least 77 files of child abuse media that were found on his phone. Harper was sending the abuse media to a pedophile in the USA.
The mother of the child, who was estranged from Harper, testified of the devastating impacts of the abuse on her child, and on her.
In Mr. Harper’s defence, forensic psychiatrist Dr. Rajan Darjee wrote a sympathetic report for Harper as a woman and a mother, even though as a man, Harper can factually be neither. Darjee testified to the court that Harper had been coerced by the American pedophile, to perform horrific sex acts on his daughter and “was not inherently motivated by deviant sexual interests or any other motive”, but was dominated in a master/slave relationship by the other man.
The ability to falsify his sex with gender identity legislation, allowed Harper to adopt all the legal and cultural assumptions of being a woman and a mother, most critically that he was naturally free from male pattern sexual deviancy.
Paraphilias are very rare in women, particularly pedophilia, and especially the sexual abuse of their own children. Women who engage in child sex abuse are more likely to do so by coercion. These statistical realities were the foundation assumptions of the corrupted forensic report.
Harper only changed his legal name and sex marker to female during the trial. The “f” marker was once a way to remove women from political power and paid employment and is now a magic spell of atonement for male sex offenders. State-sanctioned rape is a feature not a bug of gender identity.
By adopting lies about the sex of the perpetrator, the court masked the deviant nature of the dynamic between Harper and the other pedophile. The dom/sub (dominant/submissive) sexual roleplay is a feature of BDSM, (bondage, discipline (domination), sadism, and masochism) and is typical in forms of popular transgender porn, consumed by trans-identified men.
Reduxx co-founder Genevieve Gluck has researched trans-related porn over many years and reports on the grim topic in her Substack Women's Voices. Genevieve has tracked the way gender identity emerged from pornographic concepts that sexualise the oppression of women.
In an interview with Brendan O’Neil from Spiked Online, Genevie said trans-identified men frequently portray themselves as “a man who humiliates himself or degrades himself in certain ways by performing certain objectifying constructs of femininity”. She has written of the prevalence of sissy porn in the trans-porn genre. Sissy-porn centres the sissified male (usually a man dressed in sexualised feminine clothing and makeup), as an object to be dominated and abused. In trans porn, womanhood is achieved through a submissiveness and abuse in sexual performance.
By framing the Dom/Sub sexual roleplaying relationship as female oppression, an Australian court has affirmed pornographic narratives in defense of a pedophile.
In summing up, the judge mentioned that Harper’s mother and ex-partner (the victim’s mother), had not affirmed Harper's transgender identity and that this lack of affirmation by women close to him, compounded matters and made Harper vulnerable to take the submissive role he played out with the other pedophile, as a gender-affirming practice. Remember in trans porn, as in trans-ideology, sexual submission is by definition female.
The fact that Harper’s “gender identity was not fully accepted” by the women in his life, was given as a mitigating factor to lead him to orally rape his own daughter, film it, and send the video to another pedophile as an act of gender-affirming submission.
Victorian Judge Nola Karapanagiotidis was at liberty to impose a sentence as long as 25 years on Harper for sexually abusing his daughter, but taking into account the mitigating circumstance that Harper was so starving of affirmation that he became a sub for a pedo, (and could not be a pedo himself because he was a woman). Karapanagiotidis sentenced Harper to 4 years and 9 months, to be eligible for parole in 2 years and 6 months.
In essence, by accepting the defence that Harper had a woman soul and was in desperate need of gender affirmation, the Melbourne judge accepted, in an Australian court of law, that pedophilia was a gender-affirming practice for Harper, and that the submission he performed with the more dominant pedophile was reflective of the historical oppression of women by men.
In reality the dom/sub dynamic was a paraphilia-typical sexual dynamic between two men who are revolting perverted pedophiles who caused irreparable harm to a little girl. Additionally, the crime was a gross violation of the parent/child trust relationship. The law has traditionally awarded additional punishment to perpetrators infringing on familial relationships of trust.
Apart from the trauma of remembering her own father performing sex acts on her, which she would have re-lived for the court case, the victim will forever have it on record that the abuse she received was partly because her mother and grandmother failed to affirm her father as a woman.
I feel like I am saying, “This has gone too far” about 1000 miles past the train stop where I should have disembarked.
Then along comes Trump. On the 20th of January Trump put out an Executive Order entitled “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government”. The Order aims to restore biological reality in US law and policy claiming that efforts “to eradicate the biological reality of sex fundamentally attack women by depriving them of their dignity, safety, and well-being”. This simple truth is what I, and many other women, have been saying for years, with many more words.
Donald Trump is no expert in this complex area of law and policy, and will have taken advice. What has impressed me, is that the Trump administration hasn’t gone to the conservatives for advice, He appears to be listening to the “TERFs” (gender-critical feminists).
What I have learned in the last four years about gender ideology, is that it is a government and corporate-sponsored grift for a reason. Once gender identity is removed from our corrupted human rights infrastructure, the equity industry will collapse in on itself, leaving what we had; basic protections for women and girls.
The “TQ” that is being erased from the LGBTQ by Trump, is also the only link this powerful lobby group has to children, with the unsubstantiated claim of the “trans child”. Once this fiction is removed, the rationale to indoctrinate children falls away. The screaming we are hearing from famously pedophile-sodden Hollywood is no surprise to many of us.
However, for gender-critical feminists, there has always been a risk in aligning with traditionally conservative parties like the Republicans. Some powerful conservatives have their own agenda to use the madness of gender ideology to erase state protections for women and girls altogether, claiming that it is human rights law that corrupted liberalism.
We could see this tension emerging this week between the gender-critical feminists and the conservatives, when Matt Walsh came after Republican Representative and proud TERF Nancy Mace, after she posted that she was the first woman to have graduated from The Citadel.
Walsh accused Representative Mace of performing a “girlboss feminist routine”, and being part of the problem. Walsh doesn’t like the ladies straying too far from the domestic sphere, and has long indicated that feminism was a wrong turn down a dark alley for western democracies.
But Trump is not a conservative, and his hammer-to-the-rock approach to gender identity is a glimmer of hope for me, that we may see the end of this insanity, to take us back 30 years, before gender identity existed, rather than taking us back 150 years, before women had rights.
What will the Australian government do?
In Australia in the last few years we have seen The Age journalist Julie Szego sacked for gender-critical views, Moira Deeming endure unimaginable vilification and harassment from her own party for being an active TERF, psychiatrist Dr. Gillian Spencer stood down from Queensland Health for failing to participate in untested medical experimentation on gender non-conforming children, Sall Grover fight court battles to ask for the right to make an app for women, the Lesbian Action Group recently denied, on appeal, the right to have a single-sex lesbian social event. All this while conservative men ask where the feminists are.
Many other legal cases have been engaged in by women and in all of them the Australian Human Rights Commission has been on the side of men pretending to be women.
In my opinion, gender-critical feminists in Australia don’t have the luxury to be precious about Trump when courts are accepting pedophilia as gender-affirming care for the pedophile.
The only significant win we have had is Moira Deeming V John Pesutto, and that just means some people with money in this country won’t stand by and see a gender-critical woman being sacked from a conservative political party on the charge of being a Nazi.
IF the Liberals win the upcoming federal election, and that’s a big IF, we may see some follow-on from the US hurricane, but Peter Dutton is not showing the same courage as Trump on gender identity, and rooting out the noxious weed of gender identity in Australia will need an all-guts and no-glory approach.
Excellent piece. This case was an absolute travesty of justice. Is there no limit to the cynicism of these depraved men and the naivety of judges?
That a little girl can be deemed mere collateral damage while the women who refused to accept their role as bit players in this man’s sexual pantomime culminating in paedophilia are cast as accomplices is beyond outrageous.
There is nothing a man can do that will see his “woman” card revoked and no act so despicable that it cannot be excused by absurd claims of “transphobia” driving it.
Shame on this judge. Shame on Australia.
"All this while conservative men ask where the feminists are." So sorry, but I had to lol at this.
