I think it is important to recognise the enormous role autogynephilia plays. Most adult men claiming to be women do not have gender dysphoria; for them, claiming womanhood and getting others to pretend they are women is a sexual fetish. It should have been self-evident that women and girls should not be unknowing and non-consenting participants in any man’s fetish, but, sadly, there is a very effective clamp down on talking about AGP.
So maybe another point could be ““trans” is a broadening category that no longer describes a vulnerable type of person with gender Dysphoria, but includes individuals who have an orientation or paraphilia called Autogynephilia. Women need the ability to exclude these individuals from places where women and girls are in states of vulnerability”
Yes, I like that. I would actually also include that women and girls (and men) have the right to refuse to pretend a man is a woman. Calling a man “she” or “her” is not just the act of kindness we are told it is. Pronoun use is part of the man’s fetish, and no one should be coerced into participating in it.
