I've put up with drag queens parading the cat walk in my early days as a lesbian in the 1970s but when I started reading and studying feminist theory, I felt quickly sickened by these drag acts misappropriating women. I never understood why gay men cheered and admired them. Never. And most lesbians around me just had to turn away from the L & G rights movement because of this over saturation and domination at every L & G dance night. So when straight men started to parade like 'women', about 30/40 years ago, they still called themselves 'transsexuals' then, and demanding to be 'accepted' in our women or lesbian only events, it was just more of the same woman face invasion. The one we had walked away from to create our own drag queen free events. Except now they had followed us to knock on the doors of our women only events, and they even had the hide to 'identify' as 'lesbians'. My Goddess, let me off this planet! But worse was still to come. Little did we, women and lesbians know, about 20 years ago, what was in the making in the upper echelons of parliamentary circles all around the world. The law makers of the world were concocting a clever formula, together with the World Professional organization for Transgender Health, to re-write the definition of 'woman', and 'lesbian', and even the definition of 'sex', by introducing 'gender' ideology as a replacement of sex. They had finally found a way to break down the safety doors of women's and lesbian's safe spaces and feminist culture, pushing their new dress up styles down our throats, legislated into laws, and compelled speech promoted by all Human Rights Commissioners who value 'gendered' souls over the lived violated experiences of girls and women! That is where we are today. Women legislators with concrete ovaries like Queensland Attorney General AND Minister for Women & Prevention of sexual violence, Shannon Fentiman, but before her PM Julia Gillard too. Julia, unbeknownst to us, sneakily replaced the word 'sex' in all government documents and legislation papers with 'gender', just before she was stabbed in the back and defeated as our first female Prime Minister, by a man who blew his PM ship. Australians lost a Labor government to a reign of corruption and oppression by an LNP government. Little did we know and expect that once Labor state governments reclaimed their once famed powers, that they would legislate 'men dressed in women's clothing and women's faces' as having more rights and respect then 'ordinary' adult human female born and raised women. Soon the only protected 'female' in legislation will be the 'trans woman'! While all of us 'ordinary' women and lesbians will be thrown off cliffs and high buildings if we don't submit. Our reinforced safety doors have been opened widely by women in power who've been lobbied and brainwashed so severely by Gender Identity Ideologists, they can't even recognize how women hating patriarchy re-invented has cleverly used them to reinstate sex class oppression. HIStory repeated!
