Thanks Eddie. I really appreciate your submission and the research you have used to support the truth about our mangled legislation and it’s misogyny, lesbaphobia and homophobia.
Much gratitude to you Edie for writing these meaningful and supportive words. The analogy of the first women's convict boats arriving in this colonised land with women sexually used as concubines/prostitutes, and what is happening to lesbians today, is striking. After a few sleepless nights and depressed days, I am unable to form any coherent words or sentences to object to the HRC rejection of granting an exemption to LAG. Reading your latest substack piece in the early morning, in support of lesbian autonomy, self determination and safety, was very healing. Thank you Sister!
Ohh that’s lovely, thank you. We are not the first generation of women to face this, but we need to go and meet it where it hits first, and that’s lesbians.
I've been confronted with this invasion issue in my lesbian/women's circles for 40+ years! It destroyed my lesbian community in the Netherlands. One of the reasons I came here in the late 80s where the women's and lesbian liberation was thriving.
Very brilliant!
Thanks Janet

Well said and thank you, Edie 🙌🙌🙌
Thank you
Thank you Eddie, on behalf of the Lesbian Action Group, and all lesbians.
