Seems you have a similar lunatic leading your state. I pray they don’t send you to prison. Thanks Edie for such a comprehensive rejection of this ludicrous legislation. This government operates in clown world and the circus just rolls on, right over the rights of women and girls. And they say they are proud to do it! It’s sickening and horrifying.
Parliament is appalling. Claiming that women are using women’s rights as a cover to hate on transpeople, for no other reason than they hate transpeople. Why the hell would so many women put themselves through all that they are just to indulge to themselves like that?

And though I didn’t want to, my conscience demanded I say something about the attack on women’s rights being waged by the unholy trinity of corporations, NGOs and governments. I am in awe of your bravery, knowledge and writing skill and honestly choked up when I saw that you put your real name on this post. They will have to make women’s prisons a lot bigger to accommodate the female dissenters once the effects of this legislation are felt.
How can anyone not be emotional about this at this point? You and others have calmly presented well-reasoned arguments time and time again to no avail. Maybe it's time to scream.
