Apparently the one in the middle is a man. Kay Manuel, nominated for "Transgender Porn" awards. Revealed by Rachael Wong from Women's Forum.

Yeah I saw that, I chose not edit in because I quite liked one thing I've written in a while doesn't mention trans identified male. I can't wait till we can talk about women's issues without mentioning them.

Sorry for polluting your moment of peace. 😅🙏

We get so few, if any these days.

My first thought was 'typical'; men have dressed-up as female prostitutes to convince girls "this is what girls do". Girls do porn and hunt for prey. No; that is all men's sickness.

We can't even have our own exploitation

"Women's Exploitation For Women!!" -- has a nice ring to it ... 😉🙂

Though one might suggest that Bindel and company are in on the ground floor.

One is reminded of Booker T. Washington's quip thereon:

Wikipedia: "There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs — partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."

Promoting All of the Things at once: porn, prostitution, trans and of course: targeting youth.

It is very heartening to hear that this programming (attempted literal programming) about sending adults in to have sexual encounters with teens went over like a lead balloon with the Aussie public.

& I hope the kids treat the only fans contingent when it turns up as very very very cringe and shun it as only teens can

I think I can imagine the reaction of those teenage boys volunteering for this great graduation celebration when they discover they've been filmed participating in sex acts with a man.

Interesting to see Rachel's post about this comes up as 'age restricted'!!!! Funny that. I can't access it without stating my birth date on my profile. And it's a ridiculous restriction because it's YOUTH that need to read this.

Omg - that's so stupid.

thank you for your strong clear words. this is so wrong.

Well done Edie!!! This is a very important exposure of the 'allure' of 'sex positivist' attitudes and pushers, selling prostitution cq 'sex work' to teens, encouraged by ACON, the Queensland Government and Alex Greenwich MP. Your work is crucial in stopping the detrimental psychological effect sex work and wide spread pornography has on billions of people around the world, men but particularly young girls and women. I applaud you for being so alert and well worded. Bravo!

No doubt that many women, mostly women in the business, are badly used by "sex work". But it seems that much of that is because much of it is no better than sweat-shop labour and conditions. They clearly need the services of some competent union organizers, not various feminists with an axe to grind ...

You might consider the views of some who don't find the profession "a fate worse than death":

I don’t know why you use quotation marks there as if that is something I said. Well I do know...

They are competent enough to organise themselves as they have decades ago in Europe with liberal Netherlands at the forefront. I cheered that on at the time as a young radical feminist. Anything to move away from pimps and exploitation and take charge of their own business. I thought this was 'radical' at the time and went to a big hotel in The Hague where prostitutes held their own independent conference, and set up their own union.

It’s a class struggle we won’t win unless we organise together and keep leaders accountable to the base. It’s an old fashioned idea but it’s the way it has to be.

I'm on the same wavelength as you regarding the class dimension of this issue but where is there to turn to re these leaders? I think its beyond obvious that previously social-dem movements like Aus Labor have been thoroughly stripped of their working class allegiance and are today "bourgeois left" caring only about issues extraneous to economic class interest. The only alternative is the alt-right which courts working class disaffection but has its own agendas which GC people obviously do not align with. Is the left salvageable? Or has the ideology run its course and time to start fresh?

How do you keep leaders accountable when they have clearly shown they KNOW their policies aren't wanted but force them upon us against out will? Look at drag-Q-storytime...

But "radical feminist", past tense? In either case and ICYMI, Kathleen Stock's oldish essay arguing that rad fems were "barking (mad)" to try to abolish gender:

So children’s tv channel is promoting prostitution for school children? How low can they actually get? Truly shocking. Only fans? Only bloody money more like.

I'ts not a children's show channel, its a major network and it's on at 7 pm I think. My analogy was that it is like a children's show
