This is unvarnished and a bullseye. The tide is turning, and I still have a hard time wrapping my brain around the number of people and institutions that got right in line to follow the joined forces of the pedophiles and the nastiest misogynists and their handmaidens trying to destroy the west.
The ever more vapid ABC STILL, after all the letters and complaints I’ve written them, refer to women’s rights campaigners as “anti-trans activists”. I with we could all bring a class action against the ABC for sustained wilful ignorance and stupidity.
Sorry posted the Conversation article by accident (which also calls Let Her Speak an “anti trans” event). While this sort of sloppy propaganda is expected from the Convo, the ABC is supposed to be impartial- which of course it’s still not, wildly missing the point time and time again…. https://amp.abc.net.au/article/104713592
Last week I complained to the ABC about its biased coverage of the Moira Deeming defamation claim. Even after the Federal Court decision, Richard Willingham was still calling the rally and 'anti-trans' rally. I also questioned the ABC's failure to report on the Australian hospital based gender clinics. So much for fearless and unbiased news coverage and research.
Yes I’ve made formal complaints about the ABC continually defaming people protecting their rights as “anti trans”. Their supposed ombudsman Fiona Cameron is a massive disappointment. Still- David Anderson is now gone so maybe his successor is a bit more switched on/ less obsessed with virtue signalling to climb up ACON’s clacker.
I’ve made several complaints to the ABC about the use of “anti-trans” to describe women’s rights protests. They’re obviously going through to the keeper, because the language hasn’t changed.
Interesting if overstated in parts. Not sure the ‘science of lockdowns’ has been disproven or that X is now an exemplar of free speech but the article finishes with the strong point that so much of the trans debate has been class-driven and confuses the whimsical fashions of the educated with aggressive, medicalised manipulation of the vulnerable
Thanks. There was no science to justify the civil rights infractions of Covid and X is much more free speech from when I was permanently banned for saying that men pretending to be lesbians is rape culture
Wow, you have such a way with words Edie, your insights and explanations are valuable sources for anyone who's trying to understand what really happened with this DeemingvPesutto defamation case, and with woke politics. Very well worded! PS: Edie can you please unblock me on X, unless you believe I'm a bad woman and have done something untoward towards you. @baubo60 Margo
Sure but don’t try to shame me. I’d blocked anyone who said the words “same on you” to me. I carried enough shame for a 100 years and I won’t have people say that to me.
I don't recall having done that to you, and I wouldn't. I admire your work and writing ability, and your great Dollhouse broadcasts. I value you greatly.

Insightfully exposes the reality and the fantasy of our current political and cultural environment. Thank you.

The more of us who make thoughtful complaints the better. 🤔
You are ON FIRE, dear woman!
As always, but these last 2 articles have actually re lit my fire thanks Edie.
