It feels like a time of shift in the gender wars. I’m about to release something on some depressing legal development in Australia but even so, women have already lost the right to politically assemble in a protected sex category in this country.
We found this trying to politically assemble in Brisbane and I have made a little video with an extended version of my boring little speech that was too hot for the sultan of Brunei. I’ll write about next week about the ongoing silencing and erasure of women in Australia.
Also Kit Kowalski and my cousin Kris (@xxinoz) are doing a fairly regular Tuesday night space on twitter, if @msediewyatt is returned to twitter with the Musk amnesty, I may well take the place of Kris.
We have been talking strategy but we might switch it this week to something else more topical. I’d like to hear from different people around Australia about how gender identity laws, policies and culture is affecting them in their workplaces and cultural institutions, especially now a Labor government is settled in federally again.
Cheers, Edie
Good on you Edie x
